We are based out in Village Kishanpur Jamalpur, which is in the Haridwar district. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but being in the village gives us the space we need. We work in the pharmaceutical field, so our days are filled with looking after the machines and making sure the packaging is done right. It’s a very detailed kind of work. We have to be careful about everything we do. The area around us is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from the crowded industrial zones. We have a small group of people who come in every day to help with the production. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls. Our setup is practical and focused on the job at hand. We handle the various steps of making sure the medicines are ready for the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the transport is late, which are the kinds of things you deal with when you’re out in a village area. But we’ve learned how to manage. Most of us have been here for a while and we know the routine. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do; we just focus on getting the work finished every day. Haridwar is a good place for this kind of business, and Kishanpur has been a steady home for us for quite some time now.
