Universal Optics

Universal Optics is tucked away at D-1 in the Industrial Estate. It’s not the kind of place you’d wander into while window shopping, as most of our neighbors are factories and workshops. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, providing glasses and eye checks to the people who work in the area. The shop is simple, with white walls and some basic display racks for the frames. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the testing equipment and fit lenses. The noise from the other industrial units can be a bit much sometimes, but we just shut the door and it’s fine. People usually come in during their lunch breaks or right after their shifts end. We keep a variety of frames, from the cheap sturdy ones for work to some nicer ones for going out. It’s a practical business in a practical part of town. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor because our customers care more about getting their glasses right. D-1 is an easy spot to remember once you’ve been here once. We’ve seen the estate grow and change over the years, but we’ve kept our little corner pretty much the same. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, helping people see better while the machines hum in the background.
