Sheelta Industries

Sheelta Industries is located right on Haridwar Road, not too far from the Roorkee Public School. You can usually hear the school bell ringing and the kids playing during their breaks. Being in the Haridwar district, we get a lot of traffic passing by our gate every day. The workshop is a bit noisy because of the machines we use for manufacturing. It’s a plain brick building with a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it hails. We’ve got a small crew of workers who live nearby and walk to work every morning. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or bits of scrap that we sweep up at the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just find one of us covered in grease or busy checking a machine. We make various parts and industrial goods that people need. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and talk until the generator kicks in. We’ve been here for several years now, and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. It’s a good spot to be, even if the road gets a bit congested during the pilgrimage seasons. We just focus on the machines and the orders we have to finish.
