Sector-1 in the BHEL township is a quiet part of Haridwar compared to the main city. Our school is right there in Ranipur, and it has been part of this community for quite some time. Most of the children who come here are from the families living in the nearby quarters. You can see them walking to school in their uniforms every morning. The atmosphere in Ranipur is different because of all the trees and the wide roads that the BHEL area has. Our building is a simple one, nothing too flashy or modern. We have classrooms that get plenty of sunlight in the winter months, which is nice for the students. The school day starts with a prayer and then it’s just one class after another until the afternoon. We have a small playground where the kids play football or just run around when they have a break. Sometimes you can hear the birds chirping because it’s not as noisy as the markets. We keep a ledger for everything and the office is always full of papers. The staff knows most of the parents by name because everyone lives so close to each other. It’s a very local feel here. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know we are here in Sector-1. It is a steady place where the days go by slowly and the kids grow up before you even realize it. Everything is just kept plain and simple.
