Christmas Gift Box

The shop is located at 43 Purani Tehsil on Rampur Road. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside the front door. We deal with a lot of cardboard and packing tape every day, so the place usually smells like paper and glue. There are stacks of boxes everywhere, sometimes reaching all the way to the ceiling, which makes the aisles a bit narrow to walk through. We spend most of our time folding boxes or checking orders against our lists. It gets really hectic during certain times of the year, and the floor ends up covered in scraps of paper and bits of string. We have an old desk near the back where we keep the ledger and the phone, though the chair there is pretty uncomfortable and squeaks every time you move. The lighting is just a few long tube lights that flicker sometimes when they have been on too long. On Rampur Road, the traffic noise is constant, especially the horns from the trucks passing by. We usually take turns going out to get tea from the stall across the road. It is a lot of repetitive work, packing and taping and labeling, but it keeps us busy. The space is a bit cramped and messy, but it is where we do everything from the morning until we close up for the night. We just focus on getting everything boxed up correctly.
