Jay Autocomponents Ltd is located at Khasra No.116 in the Raipur Industrial Area. It’s out in Bhagwanpur, near Roorkee. The road getting here is usually busy with big trucks. It gets quite dusty in the summer months. We have been working from this spot for a while now. The building itself is just a standard industrial shed. Nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside is where all the work happens. We make different components for cars and other machines. It’s noisy because of all the equipment we have running. We have a decent group of workers here. Most people come in from the nearby villages or Roorkee town. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the generators. That’s just part of being in this area. There’s a small stall nearby where we get tea during the breaks. You see the same delivery drivers every week. We know the people at the neighboring units too. It’s a tight-knit place in its own way. We keep things simple and practical. No one wears suits here. We’re usually covered in a bit of grease or dust by the end of the day. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local industrial scene here in Bhagwanpur. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years. It's just a regular life here.
