A. A. Nauticals

Finding us at No. 665 Satti Street can be a little tricky if you aren't from around Milap Nagar. We are right there on Imli Road, near the Laksar Road stretch, in unit 106. At A. A. Nauticals, we spend our days surrounded by things related to the sea and ships. It’s an interesting mix of items we have sitting around in the shop and the storage area behind the counter. Some of the stuff is heavy, some of it is small and shiny, but it’s all part of the nautical trade we’ve been in for a while. The street outside can get quite dusty and noisy with the local traffic and the kids playing nearby. We usually have the doors open to catch a breeze when it gets stuffy inside. It’s a practical kind of setup, nothing like those modern shops in the malls with bright lights. We talk to a lot of different people who come through looking for specific parts or just curious about what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find exactly what someone is asking for. The guys working here know where everything is, even if it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We’ve stayed in this spot because it works for us and the people who know we are here. It’s just a regular business day for us, moving boxes and checking the inventory on Satti Street. We like the smell of the old brass.
