Humbolt Wedag India Pvt Ltd is located in H-141 S. Nagar, right near the B.H.E.L area in Hardwar. Being near the industrial hub means there’s always something going on. The air here feels a bit different than in the bigger cities, especially with the mountains not too far off. Our office is a straightforward place. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some technical charts. We spend our days dealing with the engineering side of the business. Most of the guys here have been with the company for years. We know the local shops and the best places to get a quick snack in S. Nagar. The work can be tough and the hours are sometimes long when a big project is happening. We don’t spend much time worrying about the office looking perfect. As long as the computers are working and the tea is hot, we’re good to go. The sound of the industrial area is like background music to us now. We take our breaks outside when the weather is nice, just watching the traffic go by toward the B.H.E.L gates. It’s a steady life. We do what we’re trained for and we don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just honest work in a busy part of Hardwar. We finish up and head home to our families, ready to do it again tomorrow.
