Globus Lamps

Globus Lamps is out at 127 in the Raipur Industrial Area. This is in Bhagwanpur. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but there’s plenty of space for what we need. The industrial area is quite large and can be a bit confusing if you don’t know your way around. Our building is a big warehouse-style space. Since we deal with lamps, you’d think it would be bright in here, and it is, but mostly from the work lights we use. The floors are hard grey concrete and there are rows of shelves reaching up to the ceiling. It’s usually a bit dusty because of the trucks coming in and out of the yard. We have a small office section partitioned off, but mostly it’s one big room. Bhagwanpur is an area that has grown a lot with factories and sheds like ours. The weather out here can be a bit extreme, really cold in the winter and very dusty in the summer. We spend most of our time organizing stock and checking orders. It’s a lot of manual work. We have a small area where the staff sits for lunch and has tea. There’s a sense of quiet once you get away from the main road, though the hum of the nearby units is always there. We like being in this part of Raipur. It’s a practical location for us. It gives us the room we need to keep things moving without getting in anyone's way.
