Our place is located out in Tola Piparia, which is part of the Usari panchayat in Mohania. You have to head towards Dugawati to find us. We work out of a space at Banarshi Ram’s. It is a quiet village area, much different from the big cities. The roads around here are okay, though they get a bit muddy when it rains. We spend a lot of our time talking to the neighbors and seeing what needs doing. It’s a small operation. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. Just a door that stays open most of the day. There is a lot of farm land around us. People in the village know where we are. We might be sitting on the porch or inside the main room. We handle stuff for the local community here in Block-Mohania. It’s simple work. Sometimes we help with local disputes or just help people fill out forms for things. The days are long but the air is fresh. We don’t have a lot of equipment, just the basics. It’s enough for what we need to do. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years. We grew up around here so it feels right to be doing this in our own backyard. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or work by the window light. We have an old battery-powered radio that keeps us company when it gets too quiet. It usually plays local news or some folk music while we work.
