We operate out of Ugahani village in the Chenari area of Rohtas. Our main point of contact is Smt Manjita Devi’s place at Khasra Number 224. It’s a very rural setting, surrounded by fields as far as you can see in every direction. We focus on agrotech, which for us means finding better ways to farm in this specific part of Bihar. We aren't a big company with a glass building or a receptionist. We work from a simple house where the front porch is our main meeting room and office. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers about their problems with pests or how the soil is changing. Sometimes we test new ways of planting or different fertilizers to see if they actually work in our local dirt before we suggest them to anyone else. It’s a lot of trial and error and waiting for things to grow. Rohtas has a lot of good land, but the traditional ways aren't always enough to keep up anymore. We are just a few people who really care about the land and want to see things improve for everyone here. We don't use fancy jargon or any marketing tricks. If something works, we share it with the neighbors over some tea. If it doesn't, we go back and try something else. It’s a slow process, and we get our hands dirty every single day. We are just part of the community here, trying to do things a bit better.
