You can find us in Gandhi Nagar, Dehri, right near the Urvarshi Hotel. The office is set up at Rajmuni Devi’s place on Plot 194. It’s a practical location for a contracting business like ours. We spend most of our time dealing with the realities of building things, which means a lot of dust and sweat. It isn't a quiet office job. There’s always someone coming in to talk about a project or a bill that needs paying. The heat in Dehri is pretty intense, so we have a few fans going all day to keep the air moving. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure the work gets done on time. Shri Ramraj Contractors has been around for a bit and we’ve seen all sorts of projects. Some are easy and some are a real pain, but we take them as they come. We aren't here to make things sound better than they are. Construction is hard work and it takes a lot of patience. Our desks are covered in blueprints and old coffee mugs. We don't really bother with making the place look perfect because we are usually out at a site anyway. If you drop by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish a phone call or look for a missing file. That’s just how it is here. We focus on the bricks and the mortar.
