Mas Engineering Kolkata

Even though our name says Kolkata, we are actually working out of Dehri On Sone in the Rohtas district of Bihar. Specifically, we’re located at Biran Bigha, in a place that used to belong to the late Janardan Tiwari. It’s a bit of a story how we ended up here, but it’s where we do all our engineering work now. The Pin-821307 area is a bit more rural than the big cities, so things move at a different pace. Mas Engineering Kolkata is a small group of us who just like fixing things and putting projects together. We have a lot of tools and parts lying around the shop. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s because we are always in the middle of a job. People from around the district know to find us here when they have something that needs a bit of technical work or repair. We spend a lot of time outside or in the workshop, so we aren't always sitting at a desk. The weather in Bihar can be pretty extreme, so we work around the heat or the rain as best as we can. It’s a practical life. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; news of what we do usually just travels by word of mouth from one person to the next. We just focus on the task at hand and try to finish it by the end of the day. It is hard work, but it feels right.
