Kilkari Hospital

If you are looking for Kilkari Hospital, we are situated near the Sakharam Railway Station in Rohtas. Being near the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It is a sound you get used to after a week or two of working here. The station brings a lot of people through this area, so it’s never really quiet. The building is easy to find once you get off the train and head towards the main path. We have a small entrance that leads into a lobby where the fans are usually spinning fast to keep the air moving. Rohtas can be a bit dusty, so we are always mopping the floors to keep things clean. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. We eat our lunch in a small break room in the back. The hospital isn't huge, but it has enough space for the beds and the equipment we need to take care of the kids. Sometimes families come from further away because of the railway connection. They sit in the waiting area with their bags, waiting for their turn to see the doctor. It’s a very functional place. We don’t spend money on decorations or pretty paintings. The walls are mostly bare except for a few health posters. It’s just a plain, working hospital right by the Sakharam station tracks.
