Kako Organic Producer Company Limited

Kako Organic Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Mohammadpur, which is part of the Sulemanpur panchayat in Kako. We are located at the house of Rag Kumari Devi and Shiv Kumar Das. This is a real local operation, and we’ve been working out of this village for a while now. Being an organic producer company means we are mostly focused on the work that happens right here on the ground. We don't have a big city office with a receptionist or anything. It's just us in a regular house where we keep our files and meet with the people involved in the business. Kako is a place we know well, and Mohammadpur is where we feel most at home. The daily work involves a lot of coordinating between different producers and making sure the organic standards are being kept. It can be a lot of back-and-forth, but we manage it okay. Sometimes the village roads are a bit of a challenge, especially during the monsoon, but that is just part of the deal. We like being based in Sulemanpur because we are close to the people we work with every day. If you need to find us, just head into Kako and look for the Mohammadpur area. We are just regular people trying to run a producer company in a way that makes sense for the local area. It’s a lot of responsibility but we take it one day at a time.
