Gupta Departmental Stores

I opened this shop in Village Beda a while back because we needed a place close by for all our daily things. You can find us right near Madhu Shree Sweets in the Sasaram area. It’s a busy spot but we try to keep everything organized on the shelves. Sometimes things get a bit crowded when the new stock arrives on the truck, but that’s just how it goes here. Most people around here know us by name and stop in for their kitchen needs or just to say hello. We carry everything from pulses and oils to small household items you might run out of unexpectedly. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular store where we try to keep what people actually ask for. I spend most of my day behind the counter, checking lists and talking to the regulars who come from all over Tehsil Sasaram. We have been here through the hot summers and the rainy seasons too. Dealing with suppliers takes a lot of time, but it means the bags of flour and rice are always ready for the morning rush. If you are passing the sweet shop, you will see our sign. The floors are a bit worn from all the feet walking in and out, but we like it that way. It feels like home to us and the people who live in Beda. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss and bother.
