Durga Food Products

Durga Food Products is situated right on the Arrah to Mohania Road, in the village of Baghini Kala. If you are driving toward the Mangalam International School, you will see our place. It’s a busy stretch of road with trucks and buses zooming past all the time. The school being nearby means there are always kids and parents moving around in the mornings and afternoons. Our daily routine involves a lot of handling food items and making sure everything is packed and ready. It gets quite hot out here during the summer months, and the road can get really dusty when the wind picks up. We spend a fair amount of time sweeping and keeping the workspace tidy because of that. It’s a local business through and through, run by people who live right here in the village. We don’t have a fancy marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the products and getting them out to the local shops and people who need them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just use that time to sit in the shade and talk. It’s a simple life working here by the highway. We’ve seen the school grow and the road get wider, but we just keep doing what we do every day. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic, but you get used to it after a while and it just becomes background noise.
