Basudev Enterprises

Basudev Enterprises is right on Station Road, on Gandhi Marg in the Dilia area of Sasaram. Being so close to the railway station means there is always a lot of movement outside our door. The noise of the trains is basically the background music of our whole day. We have been operating here for some time now. Our shop is a bit of a mix of different things. We do not have a very fancy setup inside. It is just a lot of shelves and some old wooden furniture. We see all kinds of people, from travelers coming off the trains to locals who live just down the street. It gets really busy during the festival seasons. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always dusting things off with a cloth. It is just a regular local business. We do not use big words or have some huge corporate plan for the future. We just show up every morning, open the heavy shutters, and see who comes in. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours when I cannot do it all. We talk to everyone who stops by to see us. Sasaram is a place where people still take the time to chat a bit. We enjoy that part of the job. It is hard work, especially in the heat, but it is our life and we are used to it. Nothing special, just us on Station Road.
