Arcon Build Project Private Limited runs its operations out of Vill-Tumba in the Rohtas block. Sri Ajay Sao started this up, following in the footsteps of family like Dasrath Sao. We are very much a local Rohtas company. The work we do is mostly about building things that last for the people living in the surrounding panchayats. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big marketing team. Most of our days are spent on-site, getting our hands dirty and making sure the bricks are laid straight. It’s a lot of physical labor, but that’s what construction is about. Living and working in Tumba means we see our clients at the market or in the street, so we have to do a good job. We can't just disappear if something goes wrong. We use what we have and try to keep costs reasonable for folks. The terrain around Rohtas can be tricky sometimes, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. It isn't a glamorous life, just steady work. We take on various projects depending on what the community needs at the time. Sometimes it is a house, sometimes it is something for a farm. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it done without too much talk. We are just a small group of people working hard in our own corner of the world. It keeps us busy and we like the feeling of seeing something finished at the end of the day.
