Vikramshila Institute

Vikramshila Institute is situated in Sector 1 of Rohtak, right across from the Apsara Cafe. If you know the Delhi Bye Pass Chowk, then you know we are just a short walk from there. It’s a handy location for anyone coming in from the outskirts. The building we are in is pretty standard for this part of town. We have a few rooms dedicated to different subjects. The desks are made of wood and some of them have names scratched into them from years ago. We haven’t bothered to sand them down because it gives the place a bit of character. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually get our morning chai. It’s a good spot to take a breather when the lessons get a bit long. Rohtak has a lot of energy, and being near the chowk means there’s a constant hum of traffic in the background. We have some bookshelves lined with old guides and reference books that students are free to look through. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because a lot of mud gets tracked in during the monsoon season. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people mostly just see our sign or hear about us from a neighbor. It’s a straightforward place meant for putting in some hard work on the books.
