Shravandevi Roshan Social Welfare Foundation

Shravandevi Roshan Social Welfare Foundation is located in Naichana, which is in the Rewari district. We are at the home of Karambir, who is the son of Roshan Lal. This is very much a family-rooted foundation and we named it to honor that. Rewari is a place with a lot of heart and we try to reflect that in how we help people out. The address is 123501 and it is a rural setting where everyone knows everyone else's business. We don't have a professional office staff or a fancy boardroom. Usually, we are just sitting around a table in the house talking about how to help a neighbor or fix a local problem. It is social welfare in the most basic sense of the word. We aren't trying to be famous or get big awards. We just want to do right by the name of the foundation and the people of Naichana. Sometimes it is hard to get things done because we are far from the big cities, but we prefer it this way. You get a lot of fresh air and you know exactly who you are helping. It is honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just a family and some friends trying to be useful in our own small corner of the world.
