About Rasoi – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Rohtak
We are located at No. 253/23 in the D. L. F. Colony area. Rasoi is basically our second home because we spend so many hours here every single day. It’s a kitchen space where things are always moving, from the early morning chopping of vegetables to the late-night cleaning of the stoves. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud, though the clinking of pots and pans is hard to avoid. We started this because we liked the idea of making food that felt like it came from a real home. The space isn't huge, so we have to be very organized with our ingredients and where we put the big bags of rice and flour. There are no fancy uniforms here, just aprons that usually have a few stains on them by noon. We get a lot of regulars who live nearby and just pop their heads in to see what we are cooking that day. It’s nice to know people by their first names and remember what they like to eat. The heat from the burners can get pretty intense, especially in the middle of the day, but we just keep the doors open for a breeze. We aren't looking to become a giant chain; we just want to keep our little corner of D. L. F. Colony fed and happy with what we make from our kitchen.
