Radha Charan Seva Foundation

You can find us over in Pratap Mohalla, at house number 1259/29. Rohtak is our home, and we’ve lived here pretty much our whole lives. Radha Charan Seva Foundation isn't some big city charity with a lot of money. We're just a group of friends and family who wanted to do something for the people in our town. The office is basically just a room in the back of the house where we keep all our supplies and files. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are in there, but we make it work. We handle all sorts of things, from helping kids with school stuff to looking after the elderly in the mohalla. We don't have a marketing department or a website guy. We just talk to people on the street and find out what's going on. Sometimes we make mistakes, and things don't always go according to plan, but we’re honest about it. We’re just local people trying to make Rohtak a slightly better place for everyone. It’s hard work, and the heat in the summer makes the office unbearable sometimes, but we keep at it. We don't need any awards or anything, we just like knowing we helped someone get through their day. That's really all there is to it. We stay busy and we stay local.
