Our office is room 207 in the Akd Tower, which is over in Sector-14 of the Urban Estate. It’s a busy building with a lot of different offices, so there’s always people in the elevators and voices in the hallway. We spend our time here dealing with the various needs of the poultry industry across the country. It’s mostly administrative work, like organizing meetings, handling memberships, and keeping everyone informed about what’s going on in the sector. The office is filled with stacks of newsletters, reports, and industry magazines. We have a couple of meeting rooms where people sit down to talk about regulations or market prices. It’s not a flashy place; we have standard office furniture and a small pantry for making tea during the breaks. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy because the building is right in the middle of a commercial area with lots of traffic outside. We get a lot of mail every day, and sorting through it takes up a good chunk of the morning. Most of us have been working in this field for a long time, so we know most of the people who call or visit. We don’t spend money on expensive carpets or art for the walls. We just need a functional space where we can get the work done and talk to our members. It’s a steady environment where we keep track of the industry’s ups and downs from our desks in Sector-14. It keeps us quite busy.
