Om Mobile World And Gift Shop is tucked away in Ram Nagar, Rohtak. It’s a simple space filled with mobile accessories and all kinds of gift items. Usually, the day starts with opening the shutters and sweeping out the front. We have a lot of screen guards, back covers, and different cables because phones always seem to need something. There’s a shelf for perfumes and some decorative things that people buy for birthdays or anniversaries. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things up quite high. You might see us helping someone set up a new phone or explaining why their battery isn't holding a charge anymore. Rohtak gets quite hot in the summer, so the fan is always running. We get a lot of college students coming in looking for cheap earphones or a fancy phone case. It’s a busy little corner. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the usual local shop setup. Sometimes we are wrapping a gift while also trying to find a specific memory card for a customer. It’s a bit chaotic during the evening hours when everyone is out and about. We’ve been here in this part of town for a good while, so we recognize many of the faces. We just try to keep the shelves stocked with things people actually use. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning till night. We have been running this shop for many years and like the community.
