You can find us at number 77 in H Block, right on the ground floor in New Palam Vihar. We liked being on the ground floor because it makes it easier for people to just walk in without having to deal with elevators or stairs. Gurgaon has changed a lot, and Palam Vihar is a busy area these days. Our foundation handles a lot of different welfare tasks. Sometimes we are helping with local education, and other times we are just trying to organize clean-ups in the block. It’s not very glamorous work, to be honest. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out forms for people who don't know how to navigate the system. The office is often full of papers and old chairs, but it works for what we need. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people hear about us word of mouth from their neighbors. We grew up around here, so we know the families and the problems that come up in this part of town. It’s just about being there for people when they need a bit of extra help. We try to keep the doors open as much as we can, even on weekends if there's a lot to do. It’s just how we run things here in NPV and we don't plan on changing that approach anytime soon. It feels right to keep it local and simple for everyone involved.
