Meenu Clinic

You can find Meenu Clinic in Kalanaur, right opposite Gundhar More. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of Rohtak. The clinic isn’t very big, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. Usually, we open up in the morning and stay until late in the evening. There is always a lot of dust from the road outside, so cleaning is a never-ending job here. We see people from all over Kalanaur and sometimes from the smaller villages nearby. They come in with all sorts of problems, like skin rashes or seasonal allergies. We don’t have a lot of staff, so we end up doing everything ourselves, from cleaning to talking to patients. It’s a practical way to run things. The waiting area is just a few stools and a bench. Sometimes people have to stand if it’s a busy day. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology here. Most of our work is done through talking and basic exams. It’s a very local kind of place. We know which families have been having a hard time and who is doing better. Being across from Gundhar More means we see a lot of people passing by on their tractors or motorcycles. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s just how it is in Kalanaur. We just try to provide a simple place for people to get some help when they feel sick. That is about it for us.
