Matrumal Bal Kishan Jain

Our shop is situated on Railway Road, right in the heart of the main market in the district. It has been known as Matrumal Bal Kishan Jain for many years. We are a traditional establishment, and the way we do things hasn't changed much over the decades. Being in the main market means we are always surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the town. There are always people walking by, cycles ringing their bells, and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is filled with various items, mostly household goods and things for local farmers. We use old wooden counters and have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with stock. Sometimes you need a ladder just to reach a specific box in the back. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. We recognize most of the people who walk through our door because they have been shopping with us since they were children. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We don't bother with modern marketing or social media. We just open up early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. The sound of the trains at the nearby station is a constant background noise for us. It’s just a simple, honest shop in a busy district market.
