Kp Wood Crafts

Kp Wood Crafts is situated at the 49 K M Stone on the Delhi-Rohtak Road in Sampla. We are tucked right behind the bus stand. It’s a very practical location because everyone knows where the bus stand is. Being on the main road means we see a lot of trucks and buses passing by all day. The noise is just part of the background now. We have a decent amount of space here, which is good for storage. We work with wood all day, so there is always a smell of fresh timber in the air. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with scraps and shavings on the floor, but we try to keep it somewhat tidy. We are just a group of people who know how to handle wood. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just about taking a piece of wood and turning it into something useful. Sometimes we have to deal with the weather, especially when it rains and we have to move everything inside quickly so the wood doesn't get damp. The workshop is simple and we don’t have air conditioning, just big doors we keep open for the breeze. We take our time with the work. If something isn't right, we fix it. That's just how we were taught. It’s a steady life here in Sampla and we like being part of this local area. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks, chatting with the drivers and locals.
