Jai Shiv Traders is tucked away in Janta Colony at No. 181A/34. We are right behind the Tara Hotel, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone visiting for the first time. The lane is a bit narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially if a delivery truck is there. We've been here for a while and the neighborhood knows us well. It’s not a big corporate office at all. It’s more like a storehouse and a small desk where we handle the books. We deal with various trading goods and the inventory is always changing. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with the neighbors or have some tea. Other days, it’s a total scramble to get everything loaded and moved out before dark. We don't use any fancy software to track things, mostly just some old notebooks and our memory. It works for us. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that because word of mouth in Janta Colony is usually enough. People know what we sell and they know we are honest about it. It’s a simple life. We open up early and stay until the work is done. It’s a bit cluttered inside, but we know where everything is. We just try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. It’s just us, Jai Shiv Traders, doing our daily business behind the hotel.
