We’ve been set up here at Shop No. 14 in the New Medicine Market for a while now. It’s a busy spot on Gohana Road. People come in and out looking for different Ayurvedic things. Most days start early for us, getting the shelves ready. It gets crowded because there are so many shops nearby selling similar stuff. We focus on the research side of things, but really, it’s just about having the right herbal products on hand when someone walks in. Sometimes the traffic on Gohana Road makes it hard to get here, but once you’re in the market, it’s easier to find us. We don’t really do fancy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly just boxes and jars of herbs. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy. We’ve known the neighbors in the medicine market for years. It’s a community. We talk about what’s new in Ayurveda or just about the weather. Sometimes a customer asks for something we don't have, and we try to see if we can get it from the suppliers. It’s a lot of paperwork too, keeping track of everything. We keep the place clean, or at least we try to. The fan in the back makes a bit of noise, but we’re used to it. That’s just how it is here. Nothing too special, just a regular day at the shop. The tea stall around the corner brings us chai every afternoon around three. It helps with the afternoon slump.
