G.L. Hotel Gurgaon

We are located in Mundahera, which is a village in the Jhajjar district. It’s about 124146 for the zip code. Even though we have Gurgaon in the name, we are actually out here in a more rural part of Haryana. It’s a different world compared to the tall buildings of the city. We have been running the G.L. Hotel for quite a few years. The building is a simple, functional structure. We don’t have fancy rugs or expensive art on the walls. It is just a place for people to stay when they are passing through the area. Most of our staff live nearby in the village, so it feels very local. We have some open space around the hotel, and you can see the fields in the distance. It is much quieter here at night than it is in the city. We don't use any high-tech systems for check-ins. We just have a big book where we write down names. The rooms are clean and have the basics like a bed and a fan. Sometimes we have small local events or gatherings in our common area. It’s a very straightforward business. We don’t try to be something we are not. It’s just a hotel in the countryside where things move a little slower, and we are fine with that. It’s honest work and we know our regulars well. We just take it day by day.
