Essar Steel Limited

We are Essar Steel Limited and our place is out in V.P.O. Pilana in the Rohtak district. If you know this part of Haryana, you know it is mostly fields and open space until you hit the industrial pockets. Our site is right there among the local life. It is not a very complicated operation here. We have the office and the storage areas for the steel. The weather gets really cold in the winter mornings and we usually start the day with some hot tea before the trucks arrive. Everyone knows everyone around here in Pilana. We are not some big corporate office with people in suits. Most of us wear work boots and get our hands dirty every day. The work is steady. We deal with the metal and the logistics and try to make sure everything stays on schedule. Sometimes the roads get muddy when it rains and that slows things down a bit but we manage. Being in Rohtak means we are connected to the main routes but we still feel like a small local unit. We have been part of the landscape for some time. There is no mystery to what we do. We just handle the steel and keep the business moving from this little corner of the district. It is honest work and the people here are good at what they do without needing to brag about it. We are just regular people doing a regular job here.
