Deeo-Cum-Dpc, Rohtak(Hpspp)

Our office is handled by Anil Kumar Saini and we are located in V.P.O. Baland. That is in the Rohtak district and tehsil of Haryana, 124 029. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit differently here than in the big cities. Deeo-Cum-Dpc is what we are called. We deal with a lot of local projects and government-related paperwork. The office is basically a room with some heavy wooden desks and metal cupboards full of files. It can get very dusty when the wind blows across the fields. We spend a lot of time filling out forms and checking lists. People from the village come in to ask about different programs or to submit their documents. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar and a clock that is a few minutes fast. It is quiet for the most part, except for the sound of the ceiling fan. We know most of the people who walk through the door. It is about helping the local community with their administrative needs. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just work from the office in Baland. It is honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We take things as they come and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by the desk in Rohtak.
