Astha Yoga & Nature Cure Hospital

Our place, Astha Yoga & Nature Cure Hospital, sits at 151/8 Satya Villa within Shivaji Colony. It is a much quieter spot than most of the hospitals you might see in the middle of the city. We have some trees around the building, and you can usually hear birds in the morning before the sun gets too high. The rooms are simple and we do not use a lot of heavy equipment here. Most of what we do involves mats on the floor and open windows to let the fresh air circulate. The colony itself is quite peaceful, so it feels different when you walk through the gate. We have a small garden area where some people sit and talk after their sessions. The floors are mostly stone or tile, which stays cool even when it is hot outside. We do not have a big receptionist in a suit; usually, it is just one of us sitting at a wooden desk near the entrance. Sometimes the gate squeaks when it opens, and we have been meaning to oil it for months now. We focus on things like breathing and eating right, so the kitchen often smells like herbs or boiled vegetables. It is not a place with blinking lights or loud machines. We just use what nature gives us and try to help people feel a little more relaxed in their own skin. It is a slow-paced way of doing things.
