Our place is in Rishra, right over in the Prabasnagar area. It’s an old building, nothing fancy to look at, but it gets the job done. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and most of the folks in the neighborhood know the sound of our gates opening early in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of machinery and rolls of fabric sitting around. There’s usually a bit of dust in the air and the hum of the looms is something you just get used to after a couple of days. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone drinking tea out of a clay cup or checking the ledger books at a wooden desk that’s seen better years. It’s honest work and we stay busy from morning till the sun goes down. The workers here have been with us for years, and we all just sort of know the routine by heart. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which is just how things go around here. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. We’re more focused on the textile orders and making sure the threads are right. It’s just a regular local business doing what we know how to do in this corner of Rishra. We aren't trying to be something we're not.
