Indrani Restaurant

Our restaurant is located inside the Inderlok Hotel on Railway Road in Rishikesh. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement outside. You can hear the train whistles and the sound of people carrying their bags on the street. We open up early because travelers often want something to eat before they head out for the day. The dining area has a few tables and chairs, nothing too special. We’ve spent many years here looking out at the road. Rishikesh is a place where people are always coming and going, and we see that every day. Some people stay for a quick meal, while others sit for a bit longer to rest their feet. The kitchen stays busy with the usual orders. We do our own prep work, cutting vegetables and getting the spices ready every morning. It can get a bit loud when the fans are running and the pans are clanking together. The air gets thick with the smell of what’s cooking. We don’t use any fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a plain room where you can sit down and have a meal. In the evenings, when the sun goes down, it gets a little quieter, but there’s still that hum of activity from the hotel guests coming in. We’ve been here long enough that the staff knows the routine by heart. It’s just a regular part of life on Railway Road for us, day after day.
