Adventure Factory

We are located in Tapovan, right near the Badrinath Highway in Rishikesh. Adventure Factory is the name we went with. Tapovan is one of those places that never really sleeps. There are always people walking around, mostly looking for something to do or somewhere to eat. We are pretty close to the main road, so you can always hear the horns and the engines of the trucks going by. It’s a bit noisy, but we like being where the action is. Our space is filled with all the stuff we need for the day’s work. It’s not organized like a museum, it’s more like a working shop where things are constantly being moved. The 249409 area is a hub for everything adventure-related. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who wander in off the highway. Some are lost, some are looking for a trip. We don't have a polished front desk or anything. It’s just a counter and some gear hanging on the walls. The dust from the highway comes in if we leave the door open too long, so we are always sweeping. It’s just the reality of being in such a busy part of Rishikesh. We’ve been here a while and know most of the other shop owners around Tapovan. It’s a tight community in a way. We just keep our heads down and do what we do every day without much fuss.
