Brownbird Construction Private Limited

Our place is located in Nongpoh, right in the Ri-Bhoi district. If you know this area, you know it gets pretty warm and humid compared to the cooler air up in Shillong. We are based out of a spot near Po Nongpoh and it is a decent enough place to run things from. We do construction work, mostly around these parts of the hills. It involves a lot of concrete, bricks, and making sure the foundations are right for the kind of soil we have around here. We are not some massive corporation with hundreds of employees, just a group of local folks working on projects in the community. Some days are quite slow when the rain comes down heavy and everything turns to mud, and other days we are rushing to get the roof on before the next big storm hits. We get our supplies from local vendors whenever we can, though sometimes we have to wait a long time for things to come up the highway from Guwahati. The office is pretty basic, just a place to handle the accounts and talk to the site supervisors about what needs to be done next. We have been around this area for a while and we know the local people who do the heavy lifting. It is just honest work and we do not spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the job at hand and try to avoid hiccups.
