United Food Products

Our place is at No. 89 Al in Model Town. United Food Products isn't a massive factory you see in the movies. It is a more modest setup where we handle everything from start to finish. Model Town is a decent area to work in. The smell of whatever we are making that day usually fills the air around the building. We have a small team and everyone knows their job. It’s not about having a fancy office with leather chairs. We have stainless steel tables and a lot of cleaning supplies. We spend a lot of time making sure things are clean and the products are packed right. It gets hot in the summer with the machines running, but we have some good fans going. We don’t really do a lot of talking during the shift because it’s a bit loud. People around here know us as the local food place. We take our deliveries in through the back and send them out the same way. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things up high. We just do our daily work and try to get home at a decent hour. It's a steady business and we like the routine of it. No big marketing plans, just food products made by regular people.
