We are out in Zahidpur, Naya Gaon, which is near the Kosli railway station. The business is run by Arvind Kumar, and his father Hetram has been around here for a long time. It is a quiet village area, and you can hear the trains passing by the station every so often during the day. We focus on biofertilizers. It is a small operation, mostly working out of our own place. We do not have a fancy storefront or any big glass windows. Most people just come to the house or we meet them out in the fields to talk. It is a very rural way of doing things. We spend a lot of time outside, checking on how the fertilizers are working for the local crops. Being near the station is handy for when we have to get supplies in from other places, though most things we handle are local to this area. We are just a small team, basically family and a couple of helpers who live nearby. There are no big meetings or corporate talk here. We just discuss what needs to be done over a cup of tea in the morning before starting. The pace of life in Naya Gaon is slow, and we like it that way. We know the soil in this part of Rewari district quite well. We just keep things simple, working with the seasons and the farmers who have been our neighbors for years. It is honest work and it keeps us busy.
