Sheela Hospital

Sheela Hospital is right on Cinema Road, and it’s pretty easy to find since we are near the Panchayati Bhawan. That’s a big landmark in this area, so people usually just use that to give directions. Cinema Road itself is quite lively, with people coming and going from the shops and the government offices nearby. The hospital building has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s not one of those new glass-and-steel buildings you see in the big cities. It’s a sturdy, older place with high ceilings and thick walls. We have different wards and a small emergency area for when things get urgent. The hallways are usually busy with nurses carrying trays or families sitting together while they wait for news. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, but it’s a hospital, so there’s always a bit of tension in the air. We spend a lot of time talking to the locals who come in for all sorts of things, from fevers to broken bones. The staff knows most of the families around Cinema Road quite well. We don't have a big fancy website or a PR person. We just do the work that needs doing every day. It’s a busy life, especially during the monsoon when more people seem to get sick, but we just keep at it and manage the best we can. It’s been this way for years.
