Thermo Cabs

Thermo Cabs is located behind HPL in Sector 10, right near the Power House in Uttam Nagar. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it works for what we do. We handle a lot of cables and electrical supplies. The warehouse stays pretty cool because of the way the building is shaded, which is nice during the hot summer months. We have reels of wire stacked up against the walls and boxes of connectors everywhere. Working near the power house means we see a lot of utility workers and technicians passing by. Most of our day is spent measuring out lengths of cable and packing them for delivery. It is repetitive work, but you have to be careful with the counts and types of wire. The office part is just a couple of filing cabinets and a computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from being too quiet. Uttam Nagar is a busy area, but our little corner behind HPL is relatively calm compared to the main road. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. People who need us usually find their way here eventually. We just keep track of the stock and make sure the orders are ready when the trucks show up. It is a steady routine that keeps us busy throughout the week.
