Coventry Coil-o-matic (haryana)

We are based out in Village Salawas in Haryana. It’s a quiet place, mostly fields around us, but our factory keeps things moving. We make coils and springs, so the main sound you hear all day is the clinking of metal and the machines winding up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a good group of workers from around the village who know how to handle the equipment. The building is a basic industrial shed, nothing too special to look at. We spend most of our time making sure the dimensions are right for whatever order we are working on. Some of the machines have been with us for a long time and we know their quirks. It gets quite warm in the summer, but that’s just how it is in Haryana. We don't really have a big marketing team or anything. People who need coils usually find us through word of mouth or old contacts. We load up the trucks right at the gate and they head out to the main roads from there. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. You won't find many people in suits here; it’s mostly work clothes and safety gear. We just keep our heads down and try to produce what’s needed without making too much of a fuss about it. It’s been our home for a good while.
