S P College Of Education is located on Delhi Road in Rewari. If you know the area, you know that this road is one of the main ways people get in and out of the city. The college sits back a little bit from the pavement. It is a place where people come to learn how to be teachers, so there is always a lot of talk about lessons and books in the hallways. The classrooms are quite large, and we try to keep the windows clean so there is enough light for reading. Rewari can get very cold in the winter, so we all wrap up in heavy shawls and sweaters while we are working. The atmosphere is generally quite serious, but you still hear people laughing in the canteen during the breaks. We have a small library that is usually full of students looking through old textbooks. The furniture is a bit mismatched, with some newer chairs and some very old wooden desks. Out front, the traffic on Delhi Road never really stops, so there is a constant hum of engines in the background. We have a few potted plants near the entrance to make it look a bit nicer, though they struggle when it gets dry. It is a straightforward place for learning, and we do not try to make it anything it isn't. People from all over Rewari come here, and we just keep the doors open.
