Lalita Memorial Multispeciality Trauma & Test Tube Baby Centre

This branch is located opposite the Hanuman Mandir at Bara Talab. It is a bit of a specific place because we deal with trauma cases and we also have the test tube baby section. It is a strange mix if you think about it, one side dealing with accidents and the other with people trying to start families. The location is right by the water, which makes it easy to describe to people who are lost. We spend a lot of time talking to couples who are hoping for a baby. Those conversations are usually quiet and long. Then on the other side, the trauma area can be very loud and fast when an ambulance or a rickshaw pulls up with someone hurt. We have the labs and the rooms needed for the IVF stuff. It’s a lot of technical work, but we just go about it without making a big fuss. The building itself is busy and the corridors are often packed with people waiting for news. We don't have a big reception desk with fancy lights. It’s just a desk with a lot of registers and pens. The pin code for this area is often hard for people to remember, but they find the temple easily enough. We have been part of this community for a long time. People come here because it’s been there forever. We just keep things moving, one patient at a time.
