Our shop, Jmd Printer & Advertisers, is right there on Narnaul Rewari Road, not too far from the old ice factory. If you’ve ever been to Ateli Mandi, you’ve probably passed by us without even noticing. The road stays pretty busy with trucks and people heading toward the mandi. Inside, there is usually the smell of ink and paper because that’s what we spend our whole day around. It can get a bit loud when the printers are running, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We do a lot of small jobs for the people around here, like wedding cards or shop banners. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the machines from jamming. The ice factory nearby is a good landmark because people always get lost looking for house numbers. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we spend half the morning just cleaning off the counters. It’s a small place, nothing fancy, just enough room for the machines and a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to work the software and fix the paper feeds. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Most days we just eat our lunch right here at the desk while the machines are finishing up a run.
