Gati Ltd. is situated over in Mahaveer Nagar, right on Kalka Road. It is a busy place because of all the traffic coming and going. We handle a lot of the moving and shipping work that people in this area need. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we keep our logs and talk to the drivers. Kalka Road can get really dusty, especially in the summer months, so we are always cleaning off the desks. We have been operating from this spot for quite some time. Most of the day is spent checking on packages and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It is a lot of physical labor and keeping track of messy paperwork. We don't use any high-tech systems that you might see in big city offices. We just use what works for us and our customers. Sometimes things get a bit behind schedule if there is a block on the road, but we stay until the job is done. The guys working here are all from around this neighborhood, so we know each other well. We don't have a flashy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It is just a work site where we get the freight moved. If you are looking for us, look for the gate near the main bend in Mahaveer Nagar. We are usually there from early morning until the last truck leaves at night.
