Dr Aroras Hospital

Our hospital is situated in Model Town, and the easiest way to tell someone where we are is to say we are near the bus stand. Because of the location, there is always a lot of activity outside with buses coming and going and people rushing to catch their rides. Inside, we try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit hectic during the morning hours when everyone seems to arrive at once. We have several beds for patients and a reception area that has seen a lot of use over the years. The building is an older one, so it has high ceilings and those heavy fans that hum when they are turned on. We’ve got a staff that has been here for a while, and we all know the routine of checking charts and making sure the medicine is stocked. It isn’t a fancy, modern building with glass walls; it’s a practical hospital that serves the people living in and passing through Model Town. You can hear the traffic and the horns from the bus stand if the windows are open, which they usually are for some air. We spend our days going from room to room and talking to the families who come in. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we just keep at it. Most of our patients are locals who have been coming here for years whenever someone in the family gets sick. It's just a regular part of the town.
