Auto Works

Auto Works is situated in the village of Punahan, which is part of the Beri area in Tehsil Sadar. It is a quiet place compared to the big city shops. We mostly serve the local community here. Everyone knows everyone else, so you can't afford to do a bad job. My father started this workshop in a small shed, and we’ve added a bit more space over the years. It’s still just a regular garage with oil-stained floors and a lot of old parts sitting in the corners. We do everything from fixing punctures to more complicated engine work when it’s needed. The pace here is a bit slower than in a city, but we stay busy because there aren't many other places around. We don't use any fancy computer systems for bookings. You just drive in, and if we have space, we take a look at your vehicle. Sometimes we have to wait a couple of days for parts to arrive from the city, but that’s just how it is out here. We talk to the customers while we work. Most of them are our neighbors anyway. It’s a simple life and simple work. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. If your car is making a noise, you bring it to us and we try to find it. We keep things honest and just get on with it. It’s what we’ve done for years.
